The Speed of Trust
I was fortunate to have this a few times in my career. In one assignment I managed a project for 6 months, spent over $300K, and my boss called me in and asked, "What can you show me? I said, "Nothing yet. Give me a couple more weeks." He did not bat an eye. The project was a resounding success. That level of trust is rare.
